The Becca Langsford Band feat. Vince Lee

The 47th Pori Jazz Festival in Finland will be Becca Langsford’s first European appearance. This young blues singer hailing from Plymouth, Cornwall celebrated the release of her first solo album “Big Surprise” last year. The debut presents a powerful and versatile blues singer who seems to feel right at home with a collection of classic songs.
Percy Mayfield’s dainty and slow “You’re In For A Big Surprise”, Patsy Cline’s bluesy “Never No More” and soul master William Bell’s Stax hit “You Don’t Miss Your Water” are not the easiest numbers to perform but Miss Langford has the pipes and the flair for the job.

Becca met guitarist Vince Lee, her producer and partner in crime & the leader of the internationally acclaimed “rocka-punkabilly-power-swing-blues” band “The Wildcards” and the “The Big Combo” only a few years ago. They have travelled a long way in a short time.
