Festival year 1994
Starting on July 16th and closing on the 24th, Pori Jazz 94 featured old and new jazz, blues in all of its variations, soul, hip hop-jazz, Latin-jazz, musicals and the synthesis of jazz and classical music.
Herbie Hancock, the George Russel Big Band and Little Feat were among the musicians guaranteeing good jam sessions but the official hit of the festival was the musical Ain’t Misbehavin.
