Eternal Erection

(FIN)
funk

Uncut funk, served in your face, with a twinkle in the eye. Eternal Erection – the name tells a lot about the guys’ attitude – started in 1994. The mission was simple, but deep: free people’s ass so their mind can follow. And they sure have done just that!

So far the funky septet has made four albums: Family Tree, No Funk About It, On Top, the live one On Tour and the latest: Angels & Bandits. They are all good, but On Top is certainly their most versatile as it mixes p-funk, Sly, Hendrix, Motown, disco and Frank Zappa together into a whole that truly reflects their influences with love and pride. On Top is one of those rare albums that you can as easily dance to as you can listen to it. However, like On Tour proves, Eternal Erection is at their best live, because they seriously want to have a funky good time for themselves and everybody else in the house.
