D-Booster

D-Booster consists of five Finnish jazz professionals of two generations: Perkiömäki, Kukkonen and Ketola were children of the 1960s whereas Kivivuori and Fredriksson were born in the 1980s. The group performs original material inspired by great groovejazz of the 1970s and 1980s.

During the group’s performances, tightly arranged themes are juxtaposed with jazzy interaction. Groove, funk and the blues form the core of D-Booster’s music.
