Polish jazz pianist, composer and producer Leszek Możdżer (41) is widely considered to be the same kind of chameleon and phenomena as his Finnish colleague. Możdżer has been playing the piano since the age of five and he is especially well known are renounced as the interpreter of Frédéric Chopin’s compositions.
Możdżer discovered jazz in a big way with the help of two bands – Emil Kowalski’s band a group called Miłość. Możdżer conquered the jazz audience for good as the member of the Zbigniew Namysłowski Quartet. In the poll organized among Jazz Forum readers Możdżer was voted the Most Promising Musician of the year 1993 and 1994, the Best Jazz Pianist – each year since 1994 till present as well as the Musician of the Year 1995 and 1996, 2011. He is a musicien totale in the making.
