A unique combination of Estonia’s best improvisers: voice artist Anne-Liis Poll with her amazing vocal range, classically trained piano virtuoso Anto Pett and the leading Baltic jazz guitarist Jaak
Sooäär. You could call it a contemporary impro chamber opera with a jazz edge or just simply: way out! Check out their new and very lively Full Moon album.
Anne-Liis Poll is the founder and conductor of chamber choir Eesti Projekt and a soprano soloist, who has performed cantatas by Telemann, Bach, Händel and Mozart. Lately she has specialized in
improvisation and works as an associate professor at the Esthonian Academy of Music & Theatre.
Anto Pett is probably the most famous improvising musician in Estonia and works as the improvisation professor at the Estonian Academy of Music & Theatre. He has developed a unique method for teaching
improvisation.
Jaak Sooäär plays in the Dynamite Vikings and the Erdmann/Sooäär Dessert Time, and runs the jazz department of the Esthonian Music Academy. He has worked with Han Bennink, Raoul
Björkenheim, Gavin Bryars, Anders Jormin, Joe Lovano and many other top class musicians.
