This female all star band is hand picked for Pori Jazz by Pernille Bévort, Danish sax player who has released seven CD’s under her own name. Besides being a composer and

bandleader she plays in several Danish big bands and just like the other ladies in her band she is both creative and experienced. All the ladies are Danish, except Finnish Kaisa Kulmala.

They will play fresh Scandinavian jazz, contemporary but rooted in the jazz tradition.

Besides their own material, they will also do some hip versions of standards for the guest soloists.
